Overview
This F1 racing sequence was created entirely using Generative AI, under the strict supervision of our creative team and enhanced with professional VFX expertise. Every shot—from environment scale and vehicle motion to camera dynamics—was carefully directed, refined, and controlled to ensure cinematic precision, visual consistency, and a high-end final result.
HOW WE MAKE IT
DESIGN / CONCEPTUAL
We used Generative AI to develop racing uniforms, car colorways, and visual elements directly from simple sketches and rough ideas, enabling fast exploration while maintaining precise creative control. At Balance, AI is applied selectively within the concept-building phase, guided by artists with decades of experience to ensure every design remains authentic and original. All outcomes are rooted in artist-led concepts, with AI enhancing, refining, and accelerating ideas, never replacing the creative vision behind them.
Immersive set design
Using Generative AI, we produced production-ready visuals and videos from text and image prompts within a dedicated creative workspace, allowing ideas to be explored beyond the limits of physical production. For this project, we built a fully realized racetrack environment as the core setting, designed in rich detail from interior spaces to expansive outdoor scenes. AI enabled us to visualize, refine, and connect every element seamlessly, compressing weeks of work into days while ensuring the entire environment felt cohesive, fluid, and cinematic from start to finish.
We Control AI properly
In these shots, guided by the director’s vision and creative intent, we take full control of AI, directing it to execute precise camera movements, angles, and visual rhythm exactly as envisioned. Every frame is shaped under strict creative supervision and refined by our VFX team, allowing us to guide, correct, and elevate AI outputs to cinematic accuracy. This hybrid approach ensures motion feels intentional, controlled, and film-grade, a level of precision few teams can confidently deliver.
Expensive VFX shot in AI
With AI, we can rapidly access and apply complex visual effects such as fire, explosions, smoke, debris, and collisions, elements that would traditionally require significant time, budget, and resources. For the film’s climax sequences, we combined AI-driven effects with traditional VFX techniques, allowing us to craft intense, high-impact moments that are visually rich, technically precise, and fully refined under the supervision of our experienced VFX team.
Visual style exploration
We quickly explore a wide range of creative directions using curated style presets, from cinematic moods to illustrative looks, enabling rapid iteration while maintaining visual consistency and clear creative intent.
Face Swap
We build AI from real human faces, then seamlessly swap faces using existing images or footage with precise control and natural results, ensuring believable performances while maintaining full creative and technical oversight.
VO AI generated with perfect lip sync
AI precisely synchronizes mouth movements with audio or text, ensuring natural, lifelike speech delivery. Every expression and mouth shape is carefully aligned to create performances that feel authentic, believable, and visually seamless across languages and formats.
Background Transformation
AI allows us to rebuild visuals from real human subjects, then seamlessly replace or extend backgrounds using existing images or footage with high precision and natural results—preserving the original subjects while delivering flexible, brand-safe visuals, all under full creative and technical control.
